Durham Business School - going up in the world

It has been announced that Durham Business School is in the top twenty business schools in Europe in the latest Financial Times' full time MBA global rankings.

Overall, the school rose six places from 80th to 74th position in the world and up one place to 12th in the UK where it is also one of the top three for value for money. The international reputation of the school was highlighted in a leap to 7th position in the world (up 23 places) in terms of its international student mix.

Commenting on the latest rankings Rob Dixon, Dean of Durham Business School says: “We are delighted to have done so well this year as it demonstrates our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The increased global profile of the school is highlighted by the fact that 80 per cent of our full-time MBA students come from outside the UK.”

The global list put together by the FT ranked the London Business School as the best place in the world to do an MBA for the second year running, followed by the University of Pennsylvania: Wharton, and Harvard Business School.
